Jacaranda Thursday

Grafton CBD & Surroundings

The Grafton CBD is a hive of activity on Jacaranda Thursday. Begin the day with a delicious breakfast brought to you by Radio 2GF and The Independent, providing their annual FREE breakfast in Market Square. The Independent will once again challenge 2GF to see who are the breakfast master chefs!

Market Square will be packed with vendors, amusements and a live radio broadcast whilst you listen to the performances from the Jacaranda Buskers Competition. From 8am, markets line Prince Street with a vast range of products for you to browse.

Whilst you enjoy the roving entertainment, ensure that you pop into the many local shops that are immersed in the fun of Jacaranda Thursday and dress up their stores and team members to different themes.

Lunchtime in Market Square is not to be missed, grab lunch at the food vendors and settle in to watch as local businesses entertain us, with their creativity and talent competing for the highly-coveted Jacaranda Gold Cup. Performances begin at 1pm.

Jacaranda Thursday is one day not to be missed, where the town comes alive and shows us how Grafton is fun, beautiful and a little bit crazy.
